Maclaren Estimate 2 Weeks for UK Parents on Repair Kit List

Mindful Mum Maclaren Repair Kit Succes For Safe StrollersUK and European parents have worked together to ask Maclaren to make their strollers safe. In just two days more than 200 parents from across Europe sent an email using the Mindful Mum template asking that the  safety repair kits be made available to those who request them.

Using the Mindful Mum email and letter template parents are now getting a positive response from Maclaren who have changed their stance from:

“…there was no requirement for a similar programme in the UK due to the low number of this type of incident in the UK and especially as there is not a product defect or non-compliance with the stringent EU quality standards for buggies.”

to

“Estimated is two weeks. You are on the list and they will be dispatched as a matter of urgency to all on the list when they arrive in the UK Free of Charge.”

We understand that not all parents have concerns regarding their stroller, but if you do want to attach the safety hinge repair kit, you can get on the list by requesting a repair kit using this template.
