Graco have issued a voluntary safety notice on select strollers manufactured before March 2008. The canopies on the following buggies may have the potential to cause small children injury:
- Graco Spree
- Graco Passage
- Graco Alano
- Graco Oasis
Some of the canopies on select Spree™, Passage™, Alano™ and Oasis model strollers, manufactured by Graco prior to March 2008, could potentially expose small children to a risk of injury, i.e a possible fingertip laceration.
No other Graco strollers are affected by this notice.

- Strollers or travel systems with the canopy hinge shown in Photo “A”, ARE affected by this safety notice and need a safety cover.
- Strollers that have the canopy hinge design shown in Photo “B”, are NOT affected by this safety notice.

Strollers with the canopy hinge design shown in Photo A are the ONLY models affected by this notice.
Step 3 — If you Have Hinge Style A Order the Free Hinge Cover
Order the free protective hinge cover for Graco canopy using the order form. If you have more than one Graco stroller affected you will need to fill out an application for each stroller as Graco can only supply one set of covers per order.

Graco are offering the protective canopy hinge to all consumers with affected strollers worldwide, however, there have been no reported incidences of injuries from these strollers in Europe.
The North American Consumer Product Safety Commission advises to stop using your strollers until you receive the protective hinge. If you decide to keep using your stroller however, we recommend using caution when changing the position of the canopy while a child is seated in, or near the stroller.
