Tiny Love, manufacturer of soft developmental toys for babies have issued a safety notice for the Baby Wind Chimes. The recall affects all baby wind chimes manufactured from 2002 onwards.
The Baby wind chimes are being recalled due to a few cases where the wind chime’s body has become open, exposing sharp metal rods.

Born to Play, a manufacturer of Bob the Builder toys in the UK, has issued a voluntary product recall for the following Gift Sets found in Boots and Tesco UK Stores:
- Bob the Builder Scoop, Lofty & Muck Gift Sets sold at Tesco from July 2009
- Bob the Builder: 4 Vechicle Gift Set sold at Boots from July 2009
The toys were recalled after two customers reported that a piece of a gluing tool used in manufacturing were found included inside the product packaging.

The Go Go Hamster toy is owned by US company Cepia and manufactured in China. The hamster has not been officially recalled by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) or the UK Trading Standards Institute. Some 700,000 Go Go Hamster have been sold in the UK. According to UK distributor, Character Options, the hamster toys are likely to sell out before Christmas.

US Consumer Settlement for Lead in Children’s Toys
Mattel and its Fisher-Price subsidiary have reached a settlement over lead and loose magnets in toys with American families that could total more than $50 million. The case started when millions of toys were withdrawn from the worldwide market in 2006 and 2007 when they were found to exceed legal limits of lead in the paint or plastic of the toy.
The affected toys include certain Sesame Street toys, Dora the Explorer and Diego toys made by Fisher-Price, certain Mattel toys, such as Batman, Polly Pocket, Barbie accessories, and Sarge cars.
