Rubbish City Survey – Vote to Win Kindle

We’re sick of navigating buggy wheels past dog pooh and shouting at our toddlers to stop picking up dirty bottles in our city parks! At Mindful Mum we believe that a clean and safe environment is important for raising healthy, happy, curious and responsible children.
That’s why we’re supporting the Junk Ants on their mission to name and shame the UK’s cleanest and dirtiest cities. Perhaps if we all take our vote, the city councils will make a change and empower their staff to stop litter louts.

More On Our Dirty Nation!
Joan Bakewell, Labour peer and journalist, has authored a report for BBC Panorama, One Dirty Nation. In the report, Joan argues that we need to take more pride in our surroundings. According to the report we drop five times as much rubbish today than we did in the Sixties.
Do you encourage your children to pick up rubbish? Do you include them in litter pick ups? We would love to hear about any projects you are invovled in or simply how you educate and encourage your children to tidy up Britain!
