Amanda continues to explore natural choices for childbirth as part of her professional development. Hypnotherapy in pregnancy
Amanda became fascinated by the potential of using hypnotherapy in pregnancy and birth. “A combination of these techniques has given women more choice and autonomy in their desire for a natural labour and birth. I’ve been offering hypnobirthing courses, incorporating my skill and knowledge both as a midwife and hypnotherapist, to provide a holistic approach to pregnancy and birth. I also offer therapy to women suffering from severe morning sickness (hyperemesis). Research has also shown that hypnotherapy may increase the success rate of assisted pregnancy such as IVF.”
