Anne Willicombe Feature Writer
Australian-born Anne is mum to toddler Nicholas and angel Sofia. She moved to the UK seven years ago after half a decade in Italy and some time living in Portugal and Northern Ireland.
An enthusiastic foodie, she developed a passion for feeding people when she discovered cooking as a child, loving the enjoyment she could give to others with her culinary creations. Now a mum, her priority is making sure her son develops a healthy love of food while giving him the best nutritional start to life.
She swapped her career as a university English lecturer to be a stay-at-home mummy, but still gets to use her red pens working part-time as a freelance writing consultant.
When she’s not in the kitchen, she’s longing for the sun together with her Sardinian hubby, blogging recipes as The Gingerbread Mum, ranting about the English language on Editing Angel, crafting or playing the piano. But her favourite thing to do, without a doubt, is hanging out with her son.
