Lara Crisp Feature Writer
Part Austrian, part South African, Lara has been happily settled in London for the past ten years. With an honours degree in English Literature, she found work as a managing editor in book publishing and has seen her fair share of murderers, vampires and philanderers in the course of her work. She is relieved to find these characters absent from the books she reads her baby girl at bedtime.
Although she loves traditional print books, she is also a fan of storybook apps and generally finds new technology fascinating. She blogs about books and other parenting lifestyle topics on Little Magic Beans.
Perhaps due to her mixed heritage she is a constant traveller with a strong interest in the food and history of the places she visits. Undaunted by the challenges of travelling with a little one, her daughter had already been as far afield as Africa and Australia by the time she was just six months old.
