Childcare costs can be high. If you’re on a low or moderate income, you may qualify for help with the cost of registered or approved childcare through the Working Tax Credit scheme.

You may also be able to get help with the cost of approved nannies and childminders through Tax Credits or tax exemptions on childcare vouchers. For more information, go to the HM Revenue & Customs website.

If you’re under 20 and interested in learning, the Care to Learn scheme may be able to help with the costs of childcare. Call the Care to Learn helpline on 0800 121 8989 or go to their website.
