Prime Minister leaves eight year old daughter at the pub

A Downing Street spokesman explains a recent parenting blunder when David Cameron and his wife accidentally left their eight year old daughter in a pub.

David Cameron leaves daughter in pub

After enjoying a Sunday lunch at the Plough Inn in Cadsden, Bucks, the Prime Minister and his wife left the pub with one child less than when they turned up.

Eight year old, Nancy, wandered to the toilets whilst her parents were arranging lifts back to Downing Street and only realised their daughter was left alone in the pub after they got home.

A Downing Street spokesman  said the incident happened “a couple of months ago”. He said, “The Prime Minister and Samantha were distraught when they realised Nancy wasn’t with them.

“Thankfully when they phoned the pub she was there safe and well. The Prime Minister went down straight away to get her.”

Cameron seems to have learned from his mistake and just months later launched his initiative to introduce parenting classes to every parent in England.  We wonder if the classes will have a section on how not to lose your children?

that’s what happens when you let any scatterbrain dipshit be a parent.

Mistakes happen. I would imagine they feel terrible about it – no need for the press to make a meal of it : )
