So, autumn is now upon us. How, I hear you cry? Where did the summer go? Did we even have a summer? It doesn’t feel like it to me to be honest, spare a few (maybe four) lovely days at the beach and the local splash park.

Well, things are almost back to normal – the children are very shortly back to school, and I can literally feel the colder weather creeping in. Which, I am actually glad of. No more silly expectations of summer. It’s over. Done with. We officially don’t get summer anymore.

Also, I much prefer getting dressed in cold weather. No worrying if I can face baring my arms or whether my legs are too pale to show in public. No, now I can safely stay covered up and I think winter clothes are just much nicer too. I feel smarter and more put-together when dressing in autumn/winter and I also have a bit of an obsession with boots. Riding boots, ankle boots, high heeled boots, snow boots – love them.

In my excitement of the impending dipping of temperatures, I have been scanning the best and cutest winter finds for the little nippers…
